Artist Submission Process

 

Thank you for considering Perkowitz Art Studio as a potential representative for your work.  Perkowitz Art Studio is a local art gallery currently representing local artists in oils, acrylic, pastel, colored pencil, watercolor, ceramics and photography.  We only represent artists with complete bodies of current work in their chosen medium.

 

We ask that you review the current and past exhibits including the artists currently represented by the Gallery.  If you feel that your work meets the artistic level reflected in the artwork we represent, please submit the following materials via email only.

 

Please send only ONE email including the following to: perkowitz@mac.com with the subject heading “Artist Submission”:

 

1. Minimum of Seven (7) Images of your Current work (within last 2 years) – include titles, media, date, dimensions and retail price based upon a 35/65% Gallery/Artist split.  Please ensure that the total size of the email is less than 8M.

2. Include contact information, email, phone and address.

3. Include your artistic website address, artist statement, biography, exhibit history, reviews and any other supporting details.

4. Any hard copy materials sent to the Gallery will not be reviewed or considered and Perkowitz Art Studio has no liability for any hard copy materials received.

 

Submissions will not be reviewed via walk-in submission.  Once a submission has been reviewed, we will contact you directly if we have further interest in representing your work.  Please note, we do not schedule face-to-face appointments for viewing of portfolios unless images have been reviewed and found to be of interest to the Gallery. Approximate response time is six weeks.
